Improvements to File Ownership Visibility, Bulk File Management, and Download Restriction Messaging

General

This release introduces improved file ownership visibility and bulk file management capabilities, along with fixes for download restriction messaging and a UI naming inconsistency in controlled projects.

Improvements

  • A "Created By" column is now visible for files and folders in project file listings. In collaborative projects with multiple users, this field displays who originally created each file or folder, making it easier to manage, audit, and safely clean up project contents. A "Modified By" field is also included where available.
  • A bulk "Select All" option is now available in the project Files UI to streamline cleanup of analysis-generated files. Users can quickly select all files matching current filters (e.g. by Task ID or file type), deselect individual files they want to keep, and perform bulk delete or move operations in a single action.

Bug Fixes

  • Files copied from a download-restricted project into a non-restricted project now display the correct restriction message ("Files that have download restriction set couldn't be downloaded.") instead of a misleading "Could not generate a download link" error.
  • The navigation label in controlled data projects now consistently displays "Files" across all tabs. Previously, the Data Studio tab showed "Files Premium" while other tabs showed "Files," causing a confusing UI inconsistency.
