Enhanced Reporting for Public Dataset Adoption and Usage

We are introducing additional reporting capability on dataset usage on the platform. This feature enables authorized program managers to generate on-demand, time-bounded reports on how hosted public datasets are being accessed and used by researchers on the platform.

Until now, program managers could see which researchers had requested access to datasets via dbGaP but had no visibility into whether those researchers were actively working with the data on the the platform. This feature closes that gap with a purpose-built, automated reporting tool providing insight into the real-world adoption of publicly released research data.
